A type of rigid core flooring, Rigid Waterproof Vinyl (SPC) is a variety of vinyl whose core is comprised of stone plastic composite, made from a combination of limestone powder, polyvinyl chloride, and stabilizers. This type of core is denser and more durable compared to Waterproof Vinyl (WPC). As a result, these floors will not incur damage from spills or pet accidents left unattended for up to 72 hours, and planks won’t shift or buckle from natural expansion due to heat.
